Summer has returned...for a few days anyway!

It's hard to believe that it's November already especially with the weather as nice as it has been the last few days. Today it's suppose to be near 70 degrees! We won't complain...for the month of November that's pretty good! Doesn't sound like it's suppose to stick around too long though. But we'll take it while we can get it!

We had a nice anniversary on Saturday! We got to Sioux Falls at around 4:30 and headed right to Menards. We bummed around there for about an hour pricing out things for the transformation of our house into a "cabin" (on the inside only). We looked at all the Christmas stuff they had out too...they had tons of stuff out already and were still setting up more when we were there! We found some neat things that we would like to buy for the house..now we just need to save a little money so we can buy the items we need for the transformation/redecoration. After that we went to Scheels. In the upstairs of Scheels they have all this cabin like decor so we bought a few bear figurines and looked at all the stuff they had there. We left there at about 6:45 or so. We thought for sure we would get to Red Lobster LONG after the supper rush but we were shocked when we drove into the parking lot and people were sitting outside waiting! NOT A GOOD SIGN! So we went in and told them our names and got our little "pager" thing. We sat there for 30 to 45 minutes waiting for a table. We finally got in and stuffed ourselves...of course by this time we were starving. We even had room for dessert but that kinda pushed us both over the edge to the uncomfortable stuffed feeling (kinda like at Thanksgiving). It sure was delicious though and well worth the wait!

Today is election day so don't forget to VOTE! I'm going to go vote in a few minutes here. I hope the polls aren't too busy...they said a lot of people did absentee voting so I'm hoping that'll cut down on the wait time. Otherwise not much is going on at our house. Jeff has been busy working out in the shop on a few things and I need to finish my crafts for the Show and Sell Show that is rapidly approaching (November 25th). Next weekend my parents are coming up this direction for an "early" Thanksgiving. That should be a good time. We are looking so forward to seeing them!
